Plasma membranes are asymmetric in lipid unsaturation, packing and protein shape
In my talk I will present our recent work on plasma membrane asymmetry. Namely the lipidomics of the two leaflets, how these impart distinct physical properties, and the consequences on protein structure and trafficking.
